The Philippine Marketing Association’s partnership with the Taiwan International Trade Administration is a testament to PMA’s intensified commitment to sustainability in the country. The MOU signing led by PMA President Kathy Mercado with Taiwan External Trade Development Council Manila Director, Alex Lai, was held last May 29, 2024 at the Sequoia Hotel, Manila Bay in Paranaque City, which commenced another enriching engagement encouraging everyone to introduce innovative solutions on environmental and economic sustainability through Go Green with Taiwan.
Using Taiwan Excellence products and solutions, the PMA Community is invited to submit sustainability proposals to protect the environment by establishing practices supporting productive growth without negatively affecting social, ecological and cultural aspects of the community.
As stewards of our planet, we are called to protect and save it from degradation. Initiatives like developing green energy, recycling resources, optimizing the environment, and implementing biodiversity conservation would surely help safeguard it for future generations. Environmental sustainability ideas include: (1) Energy & Storage, (2) Energy Saving, (3) Low-Carbon Transportation, (4) Green Materials, (5) Environmental Equipment, and (6) Circular Economy.
Submission of entries is until July 31, 2024. Gift certificates worth P5,000 shall be awarded to the first 30 qualified entries from PMA. Six (6) finalists shall be chosen from the global entries to present in Taiwan and at the same time receive support from various Taiwanese enterprises. The Top 3 proposals will each take home the grand prize of USD 20,000.
