In celebration of its 20th year, the PMA held simultaneously for the first time, a national and an international marketing conference by hosting the 6th Asia-Pacific Regional Marketing Conference and sponsoring the 6th National Marketing Conference in October.

With the theme “Progress Through Market Information and Management,” the ASPAC Conference sought to lay the groundwork for a Regional Data Bank by reviewing what data of use to the marketing professionals were available in order to make concrete progress toward standard data presentation.
