MESSAGE
It was a privilege to chair the 35th year of the Judging Committee of the Agora awards composed of commendable Agora winners themselves among them: Mr. Bernard Liu, Agora Awardee for 2000 Entrepreneur, Large Scale; Mr. Anastacio Martirez, Agora Awardee for 2004 Marketing Management; Mr. Edwin Mapanao, Agora Awardee for 2008 Marketing Management; Ms. Rossana Llenado, Agora awardee for 2007 Entrepreneur-Small Scale.
Agora's 35th year judging experience is analogous to the gemstone emerald --- one of the world's most beautiful, valuable, rich and intense gemstone. The judging experience, much like the emerald, a 35th year anniversary gemstone was truly rich, intense and involved a great deal of logical, intelligent decision making where the winner who emerged from the process must truly deserve the award based on the criteria set by the Philippine Marketing Association. Otherwise, no winner may be named in a category.
To the winners, may your Agora Award be a springboard to more fruitful accolades in the future.
