The 1980’s

The 80’s ushered in a stronger PMA with a firmer resolve to stand by its commitment to upgrade the practice and teaching of marketing and boost the professional growth of the marketing man. Undaunted by the challenges that lay ahead, the association was determined to carry on its impressive record of service to the marketing industry and to the nation.

Under the theme “Responsive Marketing Education for the 80’s” the year’s education program included marketing clinics in addition to various seminars. The year’s conference evolved around the theme “Marketing in a Crisis Environment.”
